[Problem Fixed] Shell Server TS1 – DNS Issue

Dear Valued Customer,

We had problem with our DNS resolver which given by our upstream impacted with one of our shell server (TS1). Most outgoing connection always aborted or time out, and incoming connection (SSH) to our TS1 server had been lagged. We addressed this problem and fixed it. We are sorry for this problem.
Status: TS1 – UP and working properly

[Reboot] Security Update

Due to Security Advisory from FreeBSD, we rebooted server after we update kernel and some binary.

power blackout pada jaringan kami server Indonesia 202.67.13.170.

UPS kami terkena dampak yang cukup besar. Kami telah melakukan perbaikan dan
mengganti semua perangkat utama.

TS1 Rebooted

Yth User,

pada tanggal 17 Juli 2010 sekitar pukul 7 pagi dilakukan restart server dikarenakan masalah power/listrik di datacenter. Berikut petikan email dari datacenter kami:

Hello – there was a major power failure at the datacenter when one of the 20 ton A/C units blew a compressor. This resulted in a short circuit which pulled down the entire building+backup power. Some circuits extended the duration of their UPS backup systems – such was the case with your server. Emergency techs rerouted power and brought the building back online and a second tech team is finishing repair work on the A/C units. We’re sorry for the unexpected outage.

[UP] Server UP dengan RAM Baru

Sebelumnya kami mengucapkan terima kasih atas kesabaran customer yang kami hormati. Setelah berkoordinasi dengan provider kami, serta kami melakukan komunikasi via telepon ke datacenter di US, maka diketahui bahwa telah terjadi Kernel Panic yang ditengarai disebabkan oleh masalah RAM (Memory).

Setelah dilakukan penggantian RAM, server kembali UP (Online). Dan sebagai bentuk penghargaan kami, maka kami sudah melakukan Upgrade RAM dari 1 GB menjadi 2 GB, dengan harapan meningkatkan performance dan layanan kami untuk Anda sekalian.
